Saudi Aramco Aircraft Design

Worked in close partnership with Saudi Arabia to create a comprehensive design package for the new fleet of Saudi Aramco Boeing 737 aircraft. This project encompassed both exterior and interior design elements, requiring careful attention to aviation regulations and brand standards.

Exterior Design

Developed the complete Boeing 737 vinyl wrap design that integrates Aramco's signature branding while adhering to aviation design standards. The exterior graphics were designed to maintain brand visibility while considering aerodynamic factors and material durability requirements for aircraft applications.

Interior Design Elements

• Bulkhead Design: Created custom bulkhead graphics that reinforce brand identity throughout the cabin while meeting fire safety and weight requirements
• Seat Material Selection: Coordinated the selection of interior seat materials, ensuring they met both aesthetic goals and FAA fire safety regulations
• First-Class Pillow Designs: Designed premium first-class pillows that incorporate Aramco branding with luxury comfort standards

Safety Documentation

Managed the complete production process of FAA-approved safety cards for each aircraft in the fleet. This critical component required:

• Accurate illustration of aircraft-specific safety procedures and exits
• Compliance with FAA regulatory requirements for safety card design and content
• Clear, universally understandable visual communication for international passengers
• Coordination with aviation safety experts and regulatory bodies
• Production management to ensure each aircraft received correct documentation

Challenges & Solutions

This project presented unique challenges that required specialized knowledge of aviation design:

Material Compliance: All interior materials had to meet strict FAA fire safety ratings while maintaining the desired aesthetic. This required close collaboration with material suppliers to find options that satisfied both regulatory and design requirements.

Brand Integration: Balancing Aramco's corporate identity with aviation design standards was crucial. The solution involved creating design elements that felt distinctly Aramco while respecting the functional and safety requirements of commercial aviation.

Regulatory Approval: Ensuring all designs met FAA approval standards required detailed documentation and coordination with regulatory bodies throughout the design and production process.

Results

The completed design package was successfully implemented across Saudi Aramco's Boeing 737 fleet.
